How to lay gas pipeline?

The system of the gas pipeline in urban areas refers to the outdoor pipeline that is transported from the gas plant to the storage station or distribution station, and the system will deliver the gas to pipe in individual house after the chamber of pressure regulating. It consists of gas pipes of various pressures and gas pipeline valves, both of which are of great importance. Pipes in different pressure cannot be connected to each other. Gas of high and medium pressure needs to be adjusted to the state of low pressure by a station of pressure regulating before being delivered to users.

The Requirements in the Layout of the Gas Pipeline

Gas pipelines are generally laid directly and the gas pipelines in medium or high pressure should be avoided as far as possible from main roads and bustling streets. When laying along the street, the gas pipelines are usually laid on one side of the street. When the road is wide and the gas consumption on both sides is large, we can lay out the pipelines on both sides of the street. The housing estate usually lays the gas pipelines under the road to ensure gas supply on both sides.

Gas pipelines are not allowed to be laid under buildings, and they are not allowed to be laid up and down in parallel with other pipelines. What is more, gas pipelines are not allowed to be laid in the following places such as places where there are various machinery and equipment. Also, the places for storing the products together with the places where there are explosive materials and corrosive liquids are not allowed for the layout of the gas pipelines.

When a gas pipeline crosses a river or a large channel, it should be erected with the bridge. Also, the buried depth shall not be less than 1.2m when the gas pipeline buried under the main roadway, and the depth shall not be less than 1.0m when buried under the branch roadway. In addition, the buried depth shall not be less than 0.9m when the gas pipeline is buried under the non-motor vehicles lane. On the one hand, the buried depth should not be less than 0.6m in the courtyard. On the other hand, when the pipelines are buried under the paddy field, the buried depth should not be less than 0.8m. What is important is that the gas pipelines used to transfer the wet gas or condensate should be buried below the freezing line.
