As an important special equipment often used in daily life and industrial production, boilers may have certain safety problems if they are incorrectly operated, for example, the failure of the safety valve. If we can understand and master the problems that need to be paid attention to in the use process in advance, it can extend the service life of the boiler, at the same time, it can reduce or even prevent security accidents.
The operator must be familiar with the working principle of the relevant boiler, the location of various accessories, performance and working methods. The boiler is an energy conversion device. The energy input to the boiler is chemical energy and electrical energy in the fuel, and the boiler outputs steam, high temperature water or organic heat carrier with a certain amount of thermal energy. The hot water or steam generated in the boiler can directly provide the required heat energy for industrial production and people's life, such as cooking, blanching, sterilization and disinfection in the food processing industry.
Before use, relevant personnel need to check the combustion oil, wiring and various nozzles, power supply and burner, water pump conditions. At the same time, it is also necessary to check the boiler safety valve, check whether the water pump and sewage device are normal, check that the safety accessories should be in the normal position, and the water level gauge and pressure gauge should be in the open position. The deaerator can operate normally. The softened water equipment can operate normally and the water level in the soft water tank is normal. The pump runs without failure.
Among them, the safety valve is one of the important safety devices of the boiler, which can play the role of timely discharging and reducing the pressure in the event of over-pressure. During use, regular manual discharge or periodic function tests should be performed to ensure that no safety valve failures occur due to rust and jam.
After turning on the main power switch, check whether each part is operating normally and whether there is a fault signal. If a problem is found, take corresponding measures or check and repair in time to eliminate the fault. It is worth noted that when the burner enters the automatic cleaning, ignition, partial load, and full load operating conditions and reaches a certain pressure, it should be drained regularly.
Normal shutdown: The operator should close the boiler operation switch, energy valve, the boiler water pump valve, the main power switch, and check whether the blow-down valve is tightly closed.
Accidental shutdown: If the boiler feed pump is damaged and the mediation device fails, the emergency disconnect button should be pressed to stop the boiler operation. If there is a problem with the electric fuel, the emergency disconnect button should be pressed.
Temporary power failure and shutdown: Close the main steam valve quickly to prevent water loss in the drum. Close the main power switch and the gas valve at the same time. In addition, check the boiler fuel, steam, and water valves in accordance with the normal shutdown.
Under environmental conditions that may freeze, it is necessary to keep the boiler energized or ventilated to ensure that the anti-freezing and anti-seize functions of the equipment work. At the same time, the water in the boiler and pipes must be treated cleanly to prevent freezing. In addition, if the gas boiler is not used for a long time, it is necessary to shut down the gas source and cut off the power supply to avoid unknown hidden dangers.
The boiler shall be inspected regularly once a year. Boilers that have not passed the safety inspection shall not be used. Among them, the safety valve of the boiler should be inspected regularly every year, and the pressure gauge should be checked every six months. Safety accessories that have not been inspected regularly must not be used.
