Before opening the well, we should make all preparations. First of all, we should open the low-pressure valve, and then open the high-pressure valve steadily. When opening and closing valves of high pressure and inspecting and replacing other elements of the well, we should stand on the side of it and we should not face the screw or plug to prevent the screw or plug from flying out, which may result in the injuries of people.

For wax cleaning of the gusher, the equipment of wax cleaning should be checked to ensure that the diameter and shape of the scraper meet the requirements. What is more, the diameter and the shape of the scraper should also be firmly connected to the steel wire. In addition, the wire should be clearly and accurately marked without blisters, cracks, kinks, and bending. For the underground operations, we must use equipment and tools which are safe and reliable. Also, when installing the equipment for underground operations, we should carry it out in strict accordance with standards of design. When lifting or unscrewing the tubing string, we should promote the use of power tubing tongs (which can be the electric type or hydraulic type) to replace the traditional ones such chain tongs to reduce the labor intensity of workers.

Furthermore, workers must wear hats, work clothes, and shoes of anti-smashing. Also, they should fasten safety belts on the mast, and fasten safety ropes when carrying tools. When lifting the tubing, the pins must be fastened with a safety rope, and the pins on both sides of the elevator and the pins of valves such as stainless steel valves should also be fixed. It is strictly forbidden to lift the pipe string with a single ring of lifting. When it is blocked underground, we should check the safety conditions of the safety rope, lifting system and so on carefully. What is more, the pipe string can only be lifted steadily after the measures to eliminate blocking are taken. In the process of unloading, we must make use of the ropes with sufficient strength, and the use of steel wire is strictly prohibited. Also, the operator near the well should be evacuated to a safe area.

Last but not the least, the rack of tubing should be firm and stable where the ground is flat without oil stains, cement, and obstacles. What is important is that no personnel are allowed to enter the working areas of the tubing and drilling. Before launching the cable, we should first finish the work of drifting. It is strictly forbidden to lift the cable when it encounters resistance. Measures for  unblocking should be taken and the cable car should be fixed in such situations.
